What is the Project Butterfly Facilitator Training?
The Project Butterfly Facilitator Training was created to specifically support women who directly support girls. The training gives parents, teachers and teen girl advocates holistic strategies for strengthening and empowering girls. It focuses on various approaches to developing a positive self-image from an emotional, culturally and psycho-social prospective.
Is this training just for women?
No. Although, typically women are primarily the service providers for teen girls, men who directly facilitate teen girls can definitely benefit from the training.
Will our program automatically become a Project Butterfly Program once the training is completed?
It depends. There are several programs around the country that have gone through the training and utilize components of the curriculum without becoming a "Project Butterfly" program. Each circumstance will be considered on a case by case situation.
How much does it cost?
The cost is determined by a number of factors: the number of participants, location and facility (to name a few). For accurate budgeting, an individual proposal will be created based on the needs of the organization and/or individuals.
Do you host the training at your location?
